The excitement of children . . .

We woke up witness to a collective manic phase this morning! Several of the kids bought themselves new sleds last night and were up scurrying about the house at 6:30 (this DOESN'T usually happen with our kids), chattering excitedly, gathering boots and gloves, getting ready to go SLEDDING! We made them at least wait until daylight! Wow ... and I thought the new puppy was the only one with THAT much energy around here! (my older, wiser teen stayed in bed where it's WARM!)
