Yay for baby step home improvements!

The boys helped pull up the old, gross kitchen floor earlier in the day and Kevin spent the rest of the afternoon replacing it.  He did a great job and it looks really nice!  The old one was beyond pathetic - coming up all around the edges, big gouges and holes in the middle of it.  It's SO nice to not catch your feet on the floor when you walk across it! It's the little things!!  We're also working, one section at a time, on painting some walls, doors, cabinets, etc. It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint will do for an old house.  Yay for a built in work crew (& their friends!)
