Double Digit Midget!

We enjoyed celebrating Samuel this past weekend. After donuts and presents at home in the morning, we went to Brunswick Zone and played laser tag.  Friends came for a sleepover on Friday and there were lots of laughs over "Chubby Bunny", Wii party, Hide & Go Seek (in the dark), more laser tag at home and sledding.

Love my hippie oils!

My oldest daughter woke up this morning feeling pretty yucky (almost no voice and a super sore throat) completely out of the blue. She is the last of my children to EVER ask for an oil . . . but was willing to take two of my "killer capsules" throughout the day. Just 12 hrs later, she sounds (and feels) remarkably better

Snowy and snuggled

Trying to decide if we want to venture out to enrichment tomorrow or not . . . it's been snowing off and on for the past 36+ hours and it's currently 5 degrees out! The kids enjoyed having some fun in the snow with friends yesterday. We've also discovered that Selena LOVES the snow! (even though it's deeper than she is tall right now!)

Free Days and Fun Times with Family

Today was a free day at the Denver Zoo . .. a perfect excuse for a short field trip  smile emoticon and we were even able to talk Grandpa into joining us!  It was a gorgeous day and we had a lot of fun.  After the zoo, we enjoyed a joint birthday celebration for Grandpa and Samuel (who share a birthday and a middle name)

Valentine's Day 2015

There will be pink milk & heart shaped pancakes, a candy bar bouquet, Valentine's fondue, heart shaped pasta & little treat bags (our doorway hearts will be late this year, but they'll be coming too). Aside from all of our silly family traditions, I am thankful that this man will be at the head of our table. I appreciate his steady temperament & fun-loving nature, his great sense of humor, his warm smile and sparkling eyes, his unwavering devotion and deep faith (in the One who IS love), his quiet commitment and gentle touch, his ready wisdom, hard working nature, boundless creativity and endless love of dark chocolate . . . you are 'one in seven billion' and we love you smile emoticon xoxo

Chocolate what?!!

Emily got her cast off a few weeks ago and has been eager to get a pedicure.  I happened to come across a special for chocolate pedicures on Living Social!  smile emoticon

Special Times

THIS beautiful girl had a fun time at the Father/Daughter dance last night with her awesome dad! I had a great night out with 3 amazing boys (Emily helped Anna get ready for the dance and then went to a friends' house church ~ bittersweet to accept that she's probably outgrown father/daughter dances) :-( . . . "to everything there is a season" (sniffle!)

Inklings of Spring . . .

It was 70 degrees in CO today . . . first chance Selena has had to explore (for any length of time) outside and get her paws in the snow and the mud! Happy puppy!
